I’ve had the gastric bypass surgery done and just started taking the Seroquel XR but nothing happened. Can you take the stuff if you’ve had the surgery?

There is nothing wrong with taking Seroquel after having a gastric bypass surgery. A reason why you feel nothing has happened yet is because since you have just started taking this medication, its levels in your blood need to rise first to get a response from your body. It will probably take a few days before it kicks in your system, depending on your body’s metabolism.
