Go to the web site for comparison for lap band and gastric bypass

There is good information on both of these surgeries. In this day and age with new techniques and the surgeons classes and up to date method, they both have minimum risks, it is a major surgery so there are risks, more for some and less for others. Good Luck

I had gastric bypass almost 4 years ago, I have had no complications, although some people do have major complications. there’s no guarantee with any surgery that you won’t have problems, but for me it was a great decision, I lost 105 lbs, gained about 20 back and I am working on getting that weight back off (down 12 lbs) You will still have to work at keeping it off, but if you truly think you can change your eating habits and make healthy lifestyle changes, then I would recommend it. If you don’t plan on changing your eating and exercise habits, it won’t help you
