I went with my friend to her doctors after gastric bypass and he mentioned that in the short future that new drugs would be approved by the FDA that would make gastric bypass and banding obsolete. Does anyone know the names of these drugs?

I feel very certain this doctor knew what he was talking about since he specializes in those surgeries and did 2800 of them or so.

No, this is not true, just because no matter if you diet or if you go under the knife, the ultimate success is based on your willingness and in your real commitment in changing your life, even with Gastric Bypass surgery.
