What insurance companies cover include gastric bypass or lap band procedures?

The insurance I have through my job (PHCS) has verbally stated that they will not cover ANY weight loss related procedures. My doctor is wanting me to do the lap band procedure so I would like to see about getting my own insurance that will cover the cost. Any suggestions?

    absolutely none.

    The individual policies do cover lap band recommended you can get covered.
    The individual policies have waiting period before you and some individual policies do find company that will be outside those guidelines and will cover lap.
